LONG DUCK DONG was HILARIOUS!

"KINDERGARTEN COP"
This clip is called *WHO IS YOUR DADDY AND WHAT DOES HE DO? LOL - the last few kids are funny!*

"LIFE STINKS" (1991)
-
A rich businessman makes a bet he can survive on the streets of a rough Los Angeles neighborhood for 30 days completely penniless. During his stay he discovers another side of life and falls in love with with a homeless woman. Although the plot summary doesn't seem funny, there's one scene in this movie that always cracks me up.

*Winter* S.P.R.I.N.G☂, Summer ☀, or Fall?

Ahhhhh ~ Summer is coming close to an end :( and soon *fall* will be upon us. Fall happens to be my favorite season ☺! I ♥ when the weather is just right. Not too hot, but not too cold. I was born in October and have always been a fall baby. I love taking walks in the park during this time of year, breathing in the crisp, cool autumn air, wearing jeans and a hoodie (ah, my favorite) without feeling like a freak since I even dress like that at times in the summer and I love Halloween. I love the ~eeriness this season brings. I'm going to do a twist and do my 1st poll on here. (Thanks to Eric and his polls, they are now in my head). What is your favorite season? Please list from most favorite to least favorite. A.) Winter B.)Spring C.)Summer D.)Fall

I'll start off.

I HATE WINTER beyond belief. I get the winter blues... It's too cold and when it gets dark by 4:00 in the afternoon, that brings me down.

The *SNUGGIE* ツ...

Evil-E and I were flipping through the channels & came across this commercial for "The Snuggie" (known as the blanket with sleeves) and at the same time we were like "WHAT THE FUCK?" and couldn't stop laughing. At first I thought this was some spoof off of old "SNL" reruns ha ha but unfortunately I was wrong. These people look like MONKS or cult members. Below is the commercial I found on YouTube (not a very clear video, but if you follow the direct link below you will see the SNUGGIE in crystal clear footage). And the greatest part is, it comes in 3 different colors!!! YES, YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT FOLKS ;)!

P.S. Unfortunately I have bad news for my fellow cult members. According to the snuggie site "There is a limit of 6 blankets per order."

Saturday Scavenger Shots #1 (Animal)

This is my 1st for the Saturday Scavenger Hunt & this weeks word is *Animal* which was chosen by Churlita. I'm a huge animal lover :) so this shall be easy. Below is my lil' baby NEMO :)! When I used to live with my mom and step-dad, there were 3 cats in the house. Casper, Nimbus and Nemo. Casper and Nimbus are brothers (they are camera shy so no pics of them), and then we got Nemo a year later and although he's now full size he's so petite I call him my baby :)! He's always hiding so that's how I came up with the name Nemo :)! I love baby Neems :)!

Below is of a baby-tiger (portrait like sketch/etching) I did back in my college days in art class.

This next picture contains two animals ;)! Evil-E (my wild animal ha haa) and their family dog *POOKIE* - pic taken during Easter '08! Don't we make such a happy family together lol ;) ?!?!?

And last but not least, here's my baby Menudo and I (taken several years ago during our skinny days...) He is a Chihuahua (kind of hard to tell in the pic) but now he kind of resembles a polar bear :( since everybody loves to feed him.

One of my favorite animals in the world are baby *orangutans* :)!!! Awwwwwwwwww, isn't this so freakin adorable?!?!? I hope one of these days, I'll be able to hold one of them in my arms (no matter how bad they smell according to a show on Animal Planet) and get a really cute picture :)!

*Lights* Camera ◙ Action! Take 2...

This week, I bring you *HORROR*! Out of all genres, horror flicks is #1 on my list. I love the adrenaline rush I get when I watch these movies. Knowing that these movies are primarily fiction (although some are based on true events) is the main reason I don't get scared by them. Below are some clips/and trailers from my favorites!

"The Strangers"

This douche is no stranger on Mtv's The Hills.

Rob Zombie's "Halloween"

"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (The Original)

"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (2003 feat. Jessica Biel)

Some of my other favorite scary movies include "Fire From the Sky", the original "Halloween" series, "Friday the 13th" & "A Nightmare on Elm Street" series, "The Mothman Prophecies", "Wrong Turn", "The Hitcher" (2007) and a oldie but goodie "Wheels of Terror."

What horror movies (if any) are your favorite?

Dolphins to the rescue :)!

Lately I've been watching a lot of shows on Animal Planet and one of the episodes was truly amazing! I've always loved dolphins and knew they were gentle towards humans but I didn't know to what extent how intellectual they really are.

The show was about a group of lifeguards swimming off the coast of New Zealand and a pod of dolphins came to their rescue when a great white shark was swimming underneath them. The dolphins bunched the four swimmers together by circling about 4-8 centimetres from them, and slapping the water with their tails for about 40 minutes. At first the lifeguards had no idea what was going on and they thought the dolphins were going to attack them but then the oldest guy drifted from the group and realized that a shark was near and the dolphins were there to help them.

Below is a clip (the picture is poor quality but that's the only video on YouTube that I could find) from the show.

The show had a happy ending ~ nobody was hurt and if it wasn't for the dolphins saving the lifeguards, who knew what could have happened!

One of the things I would love to do in my lifetime is to swim with dolphins :)! Just not in the ocean ;)! I used to love SEAWORLD but those f@ckers took it away from the location here in Ohio.

*Lights* Camera ◙ Action! Take 1...

I'm a big movie buff and love all kinds of genres - from horror flicks, to comedies, drama and romance, etc. etc... Today's theme will focus on ♥R.O.M.A.N.C.E♥ flicks. Below, I have included some of my favorite scenes from these movies:

Titanic - Heaven Scene

The Notebook- I love when Noah says, "Well that's what we do, we fight... You tell me when I am being an arrogant son of a bitch and I tell you when you are a pain in the ass. Which you are, 99% of the time. I'm not afraid to hurt your feelings. You have like a 2 second rebound rate, then you're back doing the next pain-in-the-ass thing." LOL - on how much I can relate to this quote since I'm a pain in the ass 99% of the time. I don't mean to be :( though!

In this scene - it goes a lil something like this! Young Allie: Why didn't you write me? Why? It wasn't over for me, I waited for you for seven years. But now it's too late. Young Noah: I wrote you 365 letters. I wrote you everyday for a year. Young Allie: You wrote me?Young Noah: Yes... it wasn't over, it still isn't over [kisses Allie]

GHOST

TOP GUN - Take My Breath Away

OK - enough of this lovey dovey shit. Sorry BOYS for torturing you! I will be shocked if you made it this far with the movie clips hee heee ;)! To all my girls out there reading this. Which romance movies are on your list?

Next week, I will choose another genre. Possibly horror!

Knock...(((KNOCK))) Who's There?

Recently, I saw an eerie show on the Discovery Channel called "A Haunting - House of the Dead" which was about a family's house that had paranormal activity going on in there and it brought back some memories of my own (but not as scary)...

It was a typical, quiet, Saturday afternoon (this was when I lived at home with my mom and step-dad) and my mom and step-dad were away which made the day even better. I slept in since I didn't have to work and then my lazy ass finally got in the shower. As the water was running, I heard a loud knock on the door and I figured that the folks came home and my mom wanted something, so I yelled "WHAT do you want?" Since she didn't reply back, I kept the water on and continued to shampoo my hair and then it happened again - but the knock was much louder and there were two knocks. Once again I yelled out "MOM, WHAT DO YOU WANT?" And there was no answer... The knocks have stopped.

I wrapped myself in a towel and I opened the bathroom door but nobody was around besides the 3 cats. I looked out the front door and only my car was in the driveway. I convinced myself thinking they came home for a few minutes and they needed to tell me something or whatever, so I figured to ask them later what they wanted.

Later in the evening, I asked my mom what the hell was that all about, and she was like "What are you talking about?"

I told her about the knocks and she said something like "Oh you're silly.... You knew we weren't home. It was probably coming from the front door or maybe the cats were playing by the door."

I know that sound was defitnitely not from the cats and not coming from the front door. They have different sounds, if ya know what I mean.

A few months later, the roles reversed... I wasn't home and when I got home my mom asked me what I wanted and I'm like "HUH? What are you talking about?" She asked why were you knocking on our door while we were sleeping? I replied "That wasn't me... I wasn't home!" She then said "Stop playing around, what did you want?" Once again I said "I have no idea what you're talking about."

SEVERAL MONTHS LATER -

I was cleaning out the bathroom and stood on top of the toilet to get down this old wicker basket (had fake flowers in out) that has been hanging in the bathroom since we moved in. I couldn't stand looking at it anymore and I wanted it gone. While I unlatched the basket from the hook, it fell to the floor. Underneath the flowers were newspaper clippings about a person, along with an old compact *mirror*, watch & a few other things (looked like broken jewerly). I was kind of freaked out from what I saw and I placed everything in a box and gave it to the folks. I didn't want to throw it away knowing there was some personal meaning behind this all and maybe that (((KNOCK))) was that person/spirit coming back for their things. Who knows for sure?

If you ever had a freaky encounter of your own, I wanna hear from you!

AAaaaawwwwwwww!

Last night, as I was flipping through the channels I came across a movie called "Eight Below". Instantaneously I fell in love with this movie since it involved dogs. This movie was based on the dogs fight for survival in the Artic. Although it was just a movie, I love how animals (of all kinds) have this natural instinct about them by helping each other out. Eight Below reminds me of March of the Penguins. Both movies brought a tear to my eye, but Eight Below has a happy ending :D! I give both movies TWO THUMBS UP :)!
